Sporting Achievement

L played with his team Hadleigh Youth U11’s yesterday in a very important match V’s Bowers and Pitsea at the Southend Junior League Cup Final. It was held at Hullbridge F.C. Its been a long and hard season and they have battled each week. 80 different teams entered the league and Leo and the team did an amazing job getting to the final 2 teams yesterday, Amazingly after a 3-1 win, they came away well deserved champions yesterday morning with the trophy. A day to remember and be proud of for sure.

N was given a challenge in January by Hullbridge library, who felt that the summer reading challenge wasn’t enough of a challenge for him. The challenge is Bookopoly. It looks like monopoly, and every space has a suggestion for the type of book to read. He recently completed the challenge and after a chat about the books he read, N was given a certificate by the lovely Sarah, at the library.

KS1 playground

Please do not allow children to play on the equipment either before/after school. At the end of the day, parents and children should leave the site promptly . This enables us to open up the playground for our other clubs. Thank you.

KS2 playground

Please note that the day in KS2 does not start until 8:40am when the doors open. Children should not be left unsupervised on the playground before this time. Children should not play on the equipment. Thank you

Mushroom Theatre Companies

Blake H and Lydia H who both perform at the Mushroom Theatre Companies in a show called “I found a place”, were both helpful, responsible and very considerate to other performers with Special Needs.

Several times this was commented on and it made me feel very proud to say they were both pupils at Riverside Primary. Well done and keep up the good work.
