Skreens Park

This week, our Year 3 students had the exciting opportunity to enjoy an overnight stay at Skreens Park in Chelmsford. Nestled just past Roxwell, Skreens Park is a beautiful site offering a range of thrilling activities. Our adventurous students took part in the ‘gladiator challenge,’ ‘crate stacking,’ ‘tomahawk throwing,’ and conquering the ‘traverse wall.’

One of the highlights of the trip was the campfire, where everyone had tremendous fun singing silly songs—from ‘Baby Shark’ to the ‘Bumble Bee Song.’ If you ask the children, they’ll surely remember all the fun tunes we sang together!

The food was absolutely fantastic, and to the delight of many, we were allowed not just seconds but thirds and fourths as well! It was a feast to remember.

We are incredibly proud of both classes. Their impeccable manners, teamwork, and willingness to help and encourage each other were truly commendable. However, Tiger Class deserves a special mention for setting a new Riverside record by being the first class completely asleep by 10 PM. Well done, Tiger Class!

A big well done to all of Year 3 for making this trip so special. We hope these memories will be cherished for years to come.  Enjoy the photographs!

Persistent Absences

If your child takes too much time off school they will become categorised as PA or persistently absent.  Missing school will make your child fall behind in lessons and will impact on their academic progress and achievement.

Below is the percentage of children per year group who currently fall into this category.  If you are worried about your child’s school attendance, please do not hesitate to contact the school where we can work with you to improve this.

We’re thrilled to share the fantastic news about our talented footballers!

Year 5 Champions: Congratulations to Louie, Mason, and Oakley, who, along with their Hullbridge Under 10s Blues team, recently triumphed in their latest tournament. Competing in the Premier Division, they faced some tough competition but played brilliantly to win the overall tournament. Well done, boys!

Both teams have made their parents, the Hullbridge Sports and Social Club, and our school incredibly proud. Keep up the great work!
